In order to support the main exhibition of Evert Thielen’s collected works at the Limburgs Museum, Museum Van Bommel Van Dam requested Jannie Schmitz and Daan to arrange an exhibition about the making of Evert’s huge oeuvre. For bugettary reasons existing elements of the post office and materials from the museum had to be respected and re-used. The temporary character of the exhibition also needed emphasis. The result was a really interesting and vivid tale of this modern artist’s life with roots in Venlo. It shows Daan’s and Jannie’s ability to produce exceptional work with limited means and with consideration of the environment.
